Description of the EKA® HatchBlade W1 Black
The HatchBlade W1 Black by EKA® is the perfect compact sized all around hatchet. Measuring in at 12.6 inches it is easy to pack and carry with you pretty much anywhere for any situation. It has a nice ergonomically formed handle that feels comfortable in the hand and helps the user to achieve maximum power and impact when splitting or cutting wood. There is also a 1-inch diameter opening in the head that would allow the user to place a finger through for greater control and grip when using for small finer task such as making a tent stake, tinder, a feather stick or even for food preparation. The HatchBlade W1 Black comes with a Kydex sheath that has a Belt Clip as well as 11 lashing points so it can be attached to just about anything.

Care recommendations for EKA® HatchBlade W1 Black
To keep your axe in good condition, we recommend sharpening it when it starts to feel dull or after each use if used frequently. Clean the axe with a soft cloth and lukewarm water, ensuring you dry it thoroughly to prevent rust. Treat the axe with oil for added protection against corrosion—this also applies to stainless steel. Store the axe in a cool place and use a guard over the edge to avoid damage. Always remember to handle the axe with care.
