Description of the EKA® MachBlade W1 Wood

The MachBlade W1 Wood by EKA® has a robust 12in long stone washed blade made of a high-quality steel with a stone wash finishing. It has a durable 8.25in sawback style spine that is ideal for limbs, small trees or notching. It has a few noticeable features like being impressively lightweight, its comfortable ergonomic handle for prolonged usage and more. So, no matter if you need to clear a trail, build a shelter or trim some low hanging limbs in the jungle or just in your backyard the MachBlade W1 Wood is up for the task. It comes with a versatile Kydex sheath with a belt clip and has 15 lashing points and a 1.0in wide 35in long piece of nylon webbing strap for securing. The unique design of the Kydex sheath allows the user the ability to use the sawback spine to saw while the MachBlade W1 is securely stowed in the sheath.

All our knives are crafted from premium Swedish steel and designed to deliver durability and reliability over time. With proper knife care and by regularly maintaining your EKA1882 knife, you ensure it always performs at its best. Our blades are incredibly sharp, so handle them carefully during cleaning. We also recommend oiling the blade regularly for extra protection against corrosion and optimal performance.

• Never use your knife blade as an axe, chisel, punch, pry bar or screwdriver.
• Clean your knife with dish soap after each use and dry it thoroughly. This will help prevent corrosion, even on stainless steel. For hygienic reasons, ensure the blade is completely dry before placing it back in its sheath.
• Oil your knife for extra protection against corrosion. We recommend using natural oils for an environmentally friendly choice.
• Oil the wood handle on your knife with any natural oil and store it in a dry place.
• Store your knife safely in the sheath when it’s not being used.
• The kydex sheath can be washed both by hand or in the dishwasher.
• Maintain your EKA® MachBlade W1 Wood by sharpening regularly.
